1. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are applicable under the following conditions:
- Cancellation by the Operator: If a fast boat or ferry service is canceled by the operator due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances, you are eligible for a full refund.
- Service Unavailability: If your selected service is unavailable at the time of booking confirmation, you will receive a full refund.
- Mistaken or Duplicate Payments: If you are charged more than once for the same booking or made an error during the payment process, please notify us within 24 hours to request a refund.
2. Refund Requests by Customers
Refund requests initiated by customers are subject to the following terms:
- Advance Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your ticket, you must do so at least 72 hours before the scheduled departure time to be eligible for a refund, minus a processing fee of 5% of the ticket price.
- Last-Minute Cancellations: Cancellations made within 72 hours but more than 24 hours before departure will be eligible for a refund of 50% of the ticket price.
- No Refunds for Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure are non-refundable.
- No-Show Policy: If you fail to show up for the scheduled trip without prior cancellation, you will not be eligible for a refund.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
The following situations are not eligible for refunds:
- Change of Mind: If you decide not to travel for personal reasons without proper cancellation, no refund will be issued.
- Incorrect Information: If you provide incorrect passenger information that leads to boarding issues, SailTix.com is not liable, and no refund will be issued.
- Denied Boarding: If you are denied boarding due to not meeting operator requirements (e.g., valid identification, visa requirements, etc.), no refund will be provided.
4. Refund Processing Time
Refunds will be processed as follows:
- Payment Method: Refunds will be made to the original payment method used during booking.
- Processing Time: Refunds may take up to 7-14 business days to appear on your account, depending on your payment provider.
- Notification: You will receive an email notification once your refund has been processed.
5. Modification of Bookings
Changes to bookings (e.g., changes in departure time, destination, or number of passengers) are subject to operator policies and availability. In some cases, changes may not be allowed or may incur additional fees. Please contact our support team at least 48 hours before departure to request modifications.
6. Third-Party Operators
SailTix.com acts as a booking platform and partners with various fast boat and ferry operators. While we will assist in the refund process, all refunds and cancellations are ultimately subject to the terms and conditions of the specific operator. In case of disputes, the operator's decision will be final.
7. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, government actions, strikes), SailTix.com reserves the right to offer alternative solutions such as rescheduling or issuing travel vouchers instead of refunds.
